Launch vector-based application you will be using for this assignment. Your only choices are Adobe illustrator CC or Boxy SVG.

- Create a new horizontal document (not vertical, not portrait).
Width: 12 inches (864 pixels)
Height: 8 inches (576 pixels)

STEP 3
Remember to “Save As” or “Save to Disk as” your document to your computer as a vector-based file format.
Adobe illustrator file format: .ai
Boxy SVG file format: .svg
- STEP 4
Watch, follow and re-create the scenic mountain landscape using Adobe illustrator or Boxy SVG.
- Even though the tutorial demonstrates using Adobe illustrator, Boxy SVG users can still re-create this mountain landscape using Boxy SVG vector graphic editor.
Video Setting Reminders
Click on the 
Gear icon to change the video quality to largest number. This will display the video at a sharper resolution. (Video will be clear, not blurry)Â
- Click on the Closed Captions icon. This will display the speaking words from the video.
Click on the Full Screen icon. This will make the video full screen viewing.
Click on the Playback Rate icon. Which means you can slow it down or speed it up.
Once you have completed re-creating the scenic mountain landscape, “Save” or “Save to Disk as” your document to your computer as a vector-based file format.

STEP 6
Add a cute animal in the foreground to your scenic mountain landscape.
This can easily be done with using different shapes.
Name your document: yourname_Landscape
- File extension: Â .ai OR .svg
Criteria for Success
You re-created the mountain landscape demonstrated in the tutorial using Adobe illustrator or Boxy SVG.
Your horizontal mountain landscape has: Mountains, Sunset/Sunrise, Clouds, Birds, and a cute animal in the foreground.
