Keeley (who is in her 20’s) and Higgins (who is in his 50’s) both work for the American soccer club,Richmond, in public relations. While Keeley keeps up to date with the current trends in social media and successfully raises the club’s profile on Twitter and Tik Tok, Higgins has a huge number of contacts and established relationships with members of the media from having worked for the club for over a decade. One day, Keely hears Higgins talking to his wife about paying to send all four of their sons to college and that it’s a good thing he makes the salary that he does (naming the amount). Keeley is shocked to discover that Higgins makes twice her salary, even though they have the same job description and title. Keeley sues Rebecca, the owner of Richmond.
