Describe how predictive analytics could impact and transform healthcare delivery?
Answer:
First, through the use of predictive models, patients can be kept healthier through
the anticipation of emergency care needs or the probability of a serious condition before
its development. Secondly, through the identification of patients with the likelihood of
readmission to the hospital, it is predictive analytics that can assist providers of health
care to direct additional care at the time and place it is needed (Nithya & Ilango, 2017).
Hospitals through the prediction of the length a patient will stay in the facility, resources
may be scheduled effectively. The treatment of those in critical conditions is quickened.

A collaborative platform on data science was created for helping in the prediction of two
issues that are costly and common in hospitals namely cancer and sepsis.
