Demands for transparency, efficiency, and accountability have increased and led to the
rise of factors used to evaluate particular articles’ performance. Metrics from audiences are
critical players in news organizations. However, little research has been conducted on ways of
producing data and its effects on the journalists and newsroom culture work. They are using the
