Introduction
The improvement of the large Saudi Arabian Company requires well-planned and proven
systematic initiatives that can spur its productivity and profitability. Concisely, like any other
organization, the giant Saudi Arabian Company, is made up of several employees who all work
together towards achieving the specific goals that can be seen as the heart of the Company. In any
company, the motivation for change comes hand in hand with the relevant action. In essence, the
employees of the large Saudi Arabian Company can embrace new working ways if they directly
take part in the decision-making process that affects them.
Reasons for Occurrence of Rater Errors while Evaluating Customer Service Employees
Preconceived opinion over some employees: Personal feelings can influence the rating of
other individuals either positively or negatively (Jafri, 2017). A supervisor might like a particular
customer service employee, thus ending up rating the worker positively and vice versa for an
employee, he/she, dislikes resulting in inaccuracies and inconsistencies.
Central tendency error: This error occurs when a supervisor avoids making sound judgment
over the working performance of an employee to prevent necessary confrontations from the
workers in the severe case, thus creating inaccuracy and inconsistency in the rating of customer
service employees.
Bias in evaluating an employee of the same caliber as the supervisor: This error occurs
when there is a lack of objective measure for rating performance (Ozkul et al., 2019). As such, the
supervisor finds it difficult to rate an employee whom they share the same academic levels/job
group.

Errors resulting from recent incidents: This error occurs when a recent event influences the
thoughts of a supervisor (Jafri, 2017). A classic example is when a customer service employee
who has recently attracted more customers to the Company gets a higher rating on the spectrum
dimension as compared to others.
The Need for the Alignment of Organizational Goals with Employee Goals and the
Performance Management System
Improved productivity and performance: The alignment of the organizational goals, the
